DryerBuzz & Company Live

Have you ever wanted to create a buzz that could be heard all around the world? Well, Yolanda Lattimore (“Dryer”) can make it happen, and that’s what she does best --- “create the buzz behind the buzz.” If you tune in to DryerBuzz & Company Live, you will hear all about today’s news and gossip headlines, with a twist.

Yolanda has actually built a successful company upon the notion that the world needs to hear the right kind of news. That means that whatever sort of story Yolanda and her listeners find interesting, she will make it her business to widely circulate the gossip. The show’s name “DryerBuzz” actually came from a hair salon. Yolanda and her friends made it a habit of talking about current events whilst sitting underneath hair dryers, so they turned their heated debates into a newsletter which was circulated around the salon weekly. Customers so loved the newsletters that they eventually began asking Yolanda to distribute and publicize various stories and ideas; her talk radio show reflects this idea.

Yolanda discusses current events such as hot new books, sports news, celebrity news, and political news, but this talk show is mainly about having fun. She is also a strong supporter of African American businesses within Atlanta, and the African American community as a whole. If you have a news story, or a thought about a news story, you can visit Yolanda’s radio show every Monday night and voice your opinion. This is one radio show host that is not afraid to see any sort of position, no matter how outlandish it may seem. If you have a burning topic that you want to get out to the rest of the world, don’t wait. Tune into DryerBuzz & Company Live to join in the fun.

The New Media Journal

"The New Media Journal" radio show tackles today's headlines, offering insightful, researched discussions about the news that shapes our world.

Host Frank Salvato is the publisher and managing editor of "The New Media Journal" blog (http://www.newmediajournal.us) and also serves as the vice president and executive director of "Basics Project," a non-profit, non-partisan research and education initiative. He's also a prolific political writer, with articles appearing in over 100 national and international publications such as The Washington Times, The American Chronicle, The London Morning Paper, and Pravda. He has also appeared on FOX News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor" and is a regular guest on such radio shows as "The Right Balance with Greg Allan" (Accent Radio Network) and "The Schiffer Report" (RightTalk Radio). In April of 2006, Mr. Salvato helped produce a symposium on the causes of radical Islamic terrorism, gathering 14 of the world's premier experts for a discussion on terrorism and counter-terrorism.

Each week on "The New Media Journal" radio show, Mr. Salvato will endeavor to present a forum where the best and brightest of the new media can come together and debate the issues of the day, hoping to keep partisan politics secondary to the truth. In recent weeks, the show has welcomed author John O'Donnell-Rosales to discuss the intriguing political events surrounding Cuba and Venezuela; author Dr. Paul L. Williams visited to inform listeners about Islamberg, an apparent training camp at the foot of New York's Catskill Mountains for Islamic militants; and author Avery Chenoweth talked about his new book, "Empires in the Forest: Jamestown and the Beginning of America."

"The New Media Journal" radio show can be heard Thursdays at 8PM CT.
