Frankie the Sports Guy

If you can’t get enough of those Mets, or you just have to know more about the Giants, then Frankie the Sports Guy is your man. Who better than a local New Yorker to take on tough sports questions surrounding the home town teams? Frankie approaches all kinds of sports related topics throughout his show, and he welcomes questions from callers. But be forewarned – this sports host is always ready with a competent comparison or a quirky comeback, so be on your toes!

Frankie has had an impressive array of guests on his show including Kathleen Robins (wife of Doug Robins), Glenn Yankow (VBLI), Jeannie Toy (tri-athlete) and Mike Silva. The best thing about this sports show is that Frankie doesn’t discriminate. HE will discuss all topics from water polo to lacrosse and everything in between. His style is quick to the point and well thought out, but this is one host that sure knows his stuff.

Not only does Frankie entertain callers, but (if you happen to be shy on the phone) his website www.frankiethesportsguy.com offers all listeners a chance to voice their opinion under the “what’s your beef?” category. Frankie will attempt to read as many emails as possible on the show, and allow other listeners to comment on particularly intriguing comments. Frankie encourages posters to “rant, rave, and vent,” so let him have it! If you love sports, and you love to talk about any event that is happening in New York, feel free to give Frankie a shout, or just tune in to his show on Monday nights.
