Diva Marketing Talks

Diva marketing host “Toby” is seeking to help the internet out one blog at a time. This talk show is all about ways in which to make your blog stand out, how to promote your company on the internet, and how to successfully market your product whatever it may be. Why would she want to do this? “To help organizations understand social media marketing and how to join the conversation without getting blown-up.” This is not an easy task for marketing newbies, and most types of consulting such as this will cost entrepreneurs a great deal of money, but Toby is giving out this advice for free.

Toby grew up in Boston, but moved to Atlanta during recent years. Her love and knowledge of marketing stems from her childhood when her father first piqued her interest. Toby’s dad ran a successful data collection company, which she immediately took an interest to. When the internet entered into Toby’s life around 1997, she could envision a way of marketing that was unlike any other. Her original intentions were to find a way to bring small town America back into the spotlight via the internet. Toby wanted to find the lost corner stores and small town candy shops of yesteryear somewhere in the land of the internet – she viewed the web as a sort of alternative universe, a place where the world could remember the idea behind small town values.

Today, not only is she a talk show host, but she has made her living as speaker of Social Media Marketing. She has worked with the American Marketing Association, the Olympic Organizing Committee and SCORE. Additionally, she has had numerous articles published in marketing magazines. Now she aims at finding a way “to share the cool things I stumble across that could make life easier and more fun for marketers in a casual, exciting, environment.” This is one of the reasons she began her radio show and her Diva Marketing Blog (www.bloombergmarketing.com). If you need a bit of advice, tune in to Toby’s show in order to hear the wisdom and years that his marketing genius is more than wiling to share.
