The Dork Forest

Comedian Jackie Kashian wants you to talk about your obsession – no matter what it might be. Her talk show “The Dork Forest” is an eclectic mix of all things obsessive. Show listeners are prompted to call in and tell Jackie about the strange and bizarre things that they just can’t live without, but be forewarned – this girl has a wryly sense of humor!

Jackie and her co-host Joe chat about “dorky” items that cross their paths and include anything from musicals to comic books, but usually most callers seem to talk about their lives as comedians. Did you know that there are lots of comedians out there? Jackie’s radio show is just full of callers dialing in to make a joke or two, but some of them bring more serious matters to the show as well.

Although they may appear calm and collected, many comedians are really shaking in their boots when they reach the stage and stare down at all those expectant faces. Jackie’s guests often talk to her about their stage fright fears and other tips and tricks that surround the comedic industry. Sometimes Jackie and Joe tap into obsessions that the caller wasn’t even aware of, but once they have a hold of anything “dork-like” they are not likely to let go, so watch out.
