Pewter Radio

Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans can tune into "Pewter Radio" to get all the latest news and analysis of their favorite football team.

After a surprising playoff run in 2005, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers collapsed in 2006, finishing dead last in the NFC South with a pitiful 4-12 record and missing the postseason for the third time in four seasons. It seemed everything that could go wrong did go wrong, making the brilliant Super Bowl campaign of 2002 seem like ancient history. But the Bucs are back for 2007, with hopes of recapturing their championship glory.

Tampa Bay will have a new starting quarterback this season in Jeff Garcia. The 37-year-old signal caller had a career renaissance last year in Philadelphia and brings a thorough knowledge of Jon Gruden's West Coast offense to the Buccaneer huddle. Garcia's transition to his new team will be made easier if running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams can regain his rookie form of 2005 when he rushed for 1178 yards and six touchdowns. Williams, who has been hampered by injuries for much of his young career, will be looking to pound the rock all season, running behind an improved offensive line When Garcia does put the ball in the air, he'll be looking for receivers Joey Galloway and Michael Clayton, although second-year man Maurice Stovall could also emerge as a playmaking threat. But if the Bucs want to return to the playoffs, the defense, led by the venerable Derrick Brooks, will need to set the tone early in season-opening contests against offensive powers Seattle, New Orleans, and St. Louis.

Whatever happens to the Bucs this season, "Pewter Radio" will have it covered. New episodes are broadcast live every Sunday at 6PM EST.

DC Fanatics

If the Dallas Cowboys are your team, "DCFanatic Radio" is your radio show, covering everything there is to know about America's Team.

The 2007 NFL season promises to be an exciting one in Dallas. New head coach Wade Phillips is replacing the legendary Bill Parcells on the sidelines, bringing a fresh new approach to a Cowboys team that never quite lived up to its potential last season.

Perhaps Phillips' biggest challenge will be mentoring quarterback Tony Romo, who will be in his first full season as the starter. Romo came off the bench last year to spark a tremendous revival over the second half of the season, but his numbers started to fade down the stretch and he suffered the ignominy of dropping the snap on an easy chip-shot field goal in the waning moments of Dallas' crushing 21-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the opening round of the playoffs.

If Romo can put that embarrassment behind him, he'll have plenty of weapons at his disposal. The enigmatic Terrell Owens is healthy and ready to silence his critics, looking to improve on a solid albeit inconsistent first season with the Cowboys. Owens and fellow receivers Terry Glenn and Patrick Crayton, not to mention tight end Jason Witten, have the potential to wreck opposing secondaries. The running back tandem of Julius Jones and Marion Barber will devour defenses and rack up yardage like few combinations in football.

On the other side of the ball, Phillips will bring his expertise of the 3-4 scheme to Dallas' defense, finding ways to best utilize big play game-changers like linebacker DeMarcus Ware, defensive end Marcus Spears, and strong safety Roy Williams.

The only thing that will hit harder than the Dallas defense is "DCFanatic Radio," which airs weeknights at 10PM EST.
