Do you know what Trichotillomania is? No? Well, neither did “Trich Talk’s” Linda Miller, until somebody informed her that she had it. Trichotillomania is a disorder that affects six million Americans, but only a few know that they have it. So, what is Trichotillomania exactly?

Well, to be precise, Trichotillomania (TTM) “is an impulse disorder that causes people to pull out the hair from their scalp, eyelashes, eyebrows, or other parts of the body, resulting in noticeable bald patches (www.trich.org).” Although TTM usually attacks people during their adolescent years, since there is little information about this disorder, many people do not realize that they have it until they reach adulthood.

The talk show “Trich Talk” will aim to focus on TTM, and host Linda Miller will attempt to bring the latest news, idea, and thoughts surrounding TTM into the spotlight.
