Rooting for Christ is what Pastor Shad from GOJC Ministries is all about. His radio show adamantly insists it is “not a typical religious show” and so far he seems to be right. Pastor Shad, who encourages listeners to call in with any religious question, whether they’re a Christian or not, speaks on a variety of topics from sin to salvation and everything in between. He discusses quotes from the Bible and seeks to clarify them for people who are confused about their meaning. He is also available via email and reminds listeners several times during the show that he will answer your questions if you send them to him.

The group that Pastor Shad is affiliated with is an acronym for Gospel of Jesus Christ Ministries, which place heavy emphasis on equality and the desire to help out fellow Christians on their path to redemption. Pastor Shad is involved with the Street Team, who help teach the word of God to the public with events and pamphlets. He has been focused in the past on his ministries on “false beliefs”, and believes it is a person’s Christian duty to spread the world of the Lord in any way possible, whether or not the person is willing to listen.
