Autism News Radio

Parents that have children with autism really go through a lot when it comes time to find an education for their child. Many people believe that certain school districts actually force autistic children out of certain schools due to a lack of funding. The talk show “Autism News Radio” aims to get to the bottom of the autism education fiasco, and host Greg Wiatt believes that he has uncovered the secret behind autistic education.

Whether you know someone dealing with autism or not, this radio show will certainly bring many facets of this disorder to light. According to Wiatt, over 200,000 Americans have been diagnosed with autism, which costs the U.S. over seven billion dollars per year. Wiatt believes that by literally forcing autistic children from one school district to another, the government is aiming at reducing the costs of maintaining autistic education. Wiatt will introduce his listening public to various families throughout the country that have dealt with teachers making statements such as “we hope that this program fails as we don’t want him in here” (pertaining to an autistic boy). Additionally, Wiatt will attempt to address various school board members, teaching aids, and teacher in general who insist that there is no room within public education for autistic children.

This talk show is attempting to make a difference – are you listening? “Autism News Radio” will debut on October 1st, 2007 at 3 pm Eastern Standard Time. Wiatt expects listeners to call into his show and ask him about certain policies and procedures. Hopefully, when Wiatt speaks the world will be listening and education policies will begin to change with the United States in regards to autism.
