Ancient Streams
As if the explosion of slick haired, fast-talking televangelists preaching non-stop on the television weren’t enough to save our eternal souls, Blog Talk has over 200 “radiovangelists” available to choose from.
So whether your preferred method of drawing closer to your God is through subjecting your naughty self to a pulpit pounding, hellfire and damnation preacher or to one of the silky smooth disciples of the “name it and claim it” doctrine you will have plenty of choices.
However, if you want to exposure yourself to some well researched and fully thought out Bible exposition, specifically on the topic of prophecy, Ancient Streams might be a helpful balm for your soul and provide some solid food for your brain as well.
Host Ronda Rocco doesn’t try to push her interpretation of the Bible nor her view of how God works through such circumstances of modern life as the 9-11 tragedy into your awareness, rather she takes a very low key and reasoned approach to explaining her understanding of how God handles His business in the chaotic world of today.
Her focus is on taking the Bible at face value and not reading too much into what is written there beyond a basic “taking God at his word” approach. Which is a very refreshing change of pace in a time when many other Bible thumpers of various faiths are so adept at turning the words written for ministry into a profit-making machine that support the minister’s personal beliefs and invariably lead their followers to the conclusion that the only way to get to heaven is to send the preacher some money.
You won’t find any “new” revelations on Ancient Streams, just a calm, peaceful, and peace-inducing view of the best-selling book of all time and how the words relate to our lives today.
