Preschool Rock Moms
Preschool can be a trying time for children and mothers alike, but "Preschool Rock Moms" is here to help.
Hosts Stacey Lloyd and Joanna Young are themselves mothers, filling the half-hour radio show with lessons learned through their personal experiences in parenting. Lloyd, aside from raising a teenager and preschooler of her own, is also the CEO of SchoolRock, Inc and the Executive Editor of PreschoolRock.com, a web site where parents can find creative ways to share time, educate, and entertain their preschool-aged children. Young is a mother of four and the Associate Editor of PreschoolRock.com where she also serves as the Holiday Crafts writer and the Oklahoma City Correspondent. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for the subject, doing their best to help others navigate the uncertain waters of parenthood.
"Preschool Rock Moms" provides parenting tips, advice on childhood nutrition, and useful information such as a recent discussion about the important things to consider when hiring a babysitter, such as what questions to ask the potential candidate and obtaining a reliable background check. All the shows are broadcast live, allowing listeners to interact and call in with their own questions or comments. Listeners can also win prizes during "Pick Jake's Brain," the program's companion game show in which people try and guess how many general knowledge questions a preschooler will answer correctly.
"Preschool Rock Moms" airs every Sunday at 7 p.m. EST and every other Thursday at 12 p.m. EST. "Pick Jake's Brain" can be heard every other Saturday at 7 p.m. EST.
