Political Pistachio Radio

In an increasingly liberal landscape, "Political Pistachio Radio" is your source for Conservative thoughts and opinions regarding the political issues of the day. Douglas V. Gibbs, the show's host and the founder of the politicalpistachio.com blog, fights for the Right each and every Saturday at 7 p.m. EST, inspiring a loyal following with his own brand of grassroots Conservatism.

Recent "Political Pistachio" broadcasts have run the gamut, covering a myriad of interesting topics. Lee Culpepper, a former Marine turned teacher, stopped by to discuss American public schools and childhood education. Cary Carter, a hard-working everyman who just happens to be running for President of the United States as a write-in candidate, even paid a visit to talk about the progress of his 2008 campaign. Bob Anderson, the founder of "What Are We Fighting For?" informed everyone about his group's belief that every American citizen should earn and fight for his or her continued freedoms.

"Political Pistachio Radio" has also become known for interviewing authors. Cancer survivor Rob Ballister recently appeared to talk about his inspirational work "God Does Have a Sense of Humor." Writer Gary W. Moore and publisher Ted Savas took time out to discuss their book, "Playing with the Enemy." Lastly, Jeff Edwards, a retired Naval Anti-Submarine Warfare Specialist and Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm Veteran, stopped in to regale listeners with the tale of his thrilling new novel, "Torpedo."

In these troubled times, count on "Political Pistachios Radio" to make sense of the nutty political world.
